This multiple award-winning community farmers' market is located on the outskirts of the tiny coastal town of Sedgefield and is on every Saturday between 08:00 - 12:00. This small, rustic but famous farmers' market continues to attract proud locals and discerning travelers who consistently return for more of its festive fare.
Woodville Big Tree
The Outeniqua yellowwood tree in Woodville is a huge, tall tree that is about 31 meters high and nestled in a beautiful forest that has a short hiking trail as well if you are interested. The tree is believed to be over 800 years old.

Half-Collared Kingfisher
It is a nice shady walk through the forest, you are likely to see most of our birds e.g. the Knysna Loerie, Giant Kingfisher and the Fish Eagle. At the end there is a lovely water hole to take a dip or enjoy a well deserved snack.

Pied Kingfisher
This trail is mainly used for bird watching. It is a flat circular route which takes you through the Serpentine are which mainly consists of Fynbos and shrubs. Wild antelope can be spotted here if your lucky.

Brown Hooded Kingfisher
This is a short hike through the forest and leads along the river and is a beautiful walk up to a waterhole at the end. This trail is also popular for bird watching or not in the mood for a strenuous hike.
